La dolce vita. I’ve got to be totally honest with you, I wasn’t sure what to expect when visiting Venice. Yes, I had seen all these beautiful pictures on the internet, but all the people I talked to, who had visited Venice, told me it wasn’t at all that beautiful, that the streets and the water was dirty and that there would be this awful smell (?). Anyway, we packed our bags and with an open mind we arrived in one of the most beautiful cities I’ve ever been to. Imagine all these small streets with a canal running through them, where small tree boats and gondolas flow and over them bridges that get you through to the other side. Each street and every bridge more beautiful than the other. We were mesmerized by all the beauty. I think I had to stop every 10 meters to take photos. I will share some more pictures and stories from Venice with you later.
I am wearing
These pictures were taken on a beautiful evening after we had dinner at one cosy restaurant right beside one canal as we watched the gondolas passing by. It was magical. I was wearing my favourite midi skirt, a white pleated one. I love wearing skirts, especially in the summer. You can feel the light wind breezing, which makes your skirt kind of dance. This particular evening it was very warm so I combined the skirt with an off the shoulders top with bow details. I also wore my Soludos sandals for the first time. I am obsessed with them, aren’t they beautiful?
