Do you know the overwhelming feeling of that sometimes you simply do not have enough hours in the day? Lately I have had a hard time trying to balance work, school, time with family and friends and some of my own. These are my best tips to stay super organized.
Write It Down
It is exhausting to try to remember it all. Instead, grab a notebook and write down your thoughts. Make schedules and deadlines that will help you keep on top of things. Myself, I like to leave Post-It notes to remind myself of things that need to be done.
3 Most Important Tasks
Mark Twain famously once said that you should eat the frog the first thing you do in the morning. This means that you should do the biggest and worst task first, and then you can go on with your day knowing the worst is behind. I like to think in a similar way, identifying and prioritising the three most important tasks of the day and just doing them.

Connected to eating the frog, which is probably the task you are most likely to procrastinate on. The longer you wait to do something, the more difficult it will be. Putting the effort to do the things now, will lift a weight from your shoulders and I promise that you will feel good, once done. And remember; those dreams of yours are not going to happen if you do not take action.
In business it is ‘Delegate or Die’ that applies and I do in fact believe that delegation might be what sets entrepreneurs apart. The Harvard Business Review concluded that you should delegate:
- Anything you don’t enjoy doing.
- Anything you don’t do well.
- Anything that will help to increase cash flow.
- Anything that is getting in the way of growing you or your business.
- Anything that is process-oriented (easy to do) but time consuming.
Find the time to organise your stuff. Creating an organized space will keep your mind clear from distractions. Cleaning for me is usually a Sunday ritual, read my post about it HERE
I would love to hear what you do to stay organized. Share in the comments!
