1. If you could look back on one memory from last year that you wish you could relive, what would it be?
It is so hard to pick just one memory, but if I had to choose it would definitely be the first day of school. There was something magical in the air. We walked into the school building down a red carpet, we were greeted by the older students who were cheering and applauding. I met my best friends, which I have made so much more beautiful memories with during this last six months. It really was the start of something completely new for me.
2. What was one new year’s resolution that you accomplished?
I don’t usually make any New Year’s resolutions. I believe that every day is a new beginning and that you are able to start fresh if you just decide to.
3. 3 words to describe last year?
EEE – Emotional, eventful and educative.
4. Best music related creation/inspiration last year by an artist in your opinion?
Seeing my biggest idol – Beyoncé perform in Stockholm! The experience was something that I definitely checked off of my bucket list and omg she slayed!
5. Something you are looking forward to this coming year?
New experiences, newfound knowledge, traveling, shortly stated I want to do all the things that I enjoy and that makes me happy to be alive!
6. What did last year teach you?
2016 taught me so much! Firstly that I need to listen to what I want, what my body wants. Furthermore not only to listen to myself but to believe in myself and in the belief that everything will work out eventually. But most importantly that you have to enjoy this life you were given, because life is really a gift!
7. What was your most worn clothing item of last year?
This is a tricky one! I purchased several pieces of clothing that I believe I am going to be using for years to come. This year I really started to think about sustainability in the clothing industry and what can I as a consumer be doing. So I purchase fewer pieces but of higher quality and I really try to invest in timeless pieces.
Most worn item? I have to say that my Gucci Dionysus bag that I purchased in Barcelona. It has really been with me almost every day.
8. If you had, to sum up, your year in one word, what would it be?
This was a year of big decision so the word for 2016 was definitely CHANGE!
9. What are you hoping for more of this coming year?
I am hoping for more laughter, more happiness, and time spent with my amazing friends. We actually already have something quite fun planned after our next exam period!
10. What are you hoping for less of this coming year?
I hope for less of diseases and illness. For the last couple of year both me and my nearest have suffered from various awful diseases. So, I definitely hope that 2017 is going to be a disease-free year and that my family is going to stay healthy!
11. Best book you read last year?
There were definitely several good books I read in 2016, to name for instance Jojo Moyes’ ‘Me Before You’ and the one that I am currently reading ‘Eat Pray Love’ by Elizabeth Gilbert, and also her book ‘Big Magic’ was so inspiring!
12. What is your New Year’s resolution for the upcoming year?
As I already mentioned I really don’t do New Year’s resolutions but if I had to say something it would probably be to start keeping a journal. I have always wanted to keep a journal on a weekly, if not on a daily basis but it seems like I don’t ever have time so maybe this year I am going to put aside 10-15 minutes each day to journal and to write down my thoughts.
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2017 MY LOVES!
Keep on shining! xx
