As many of you may know this August I moved to Stockholm, Sweden from Helsinki, Finland where I had lived the last year. Originally my home is in Espoo, Finland where I have lived all my life with my family. When I started studying at Hanken school of Economics in autumn 2015 I moved to Helsinki on my own. I lived in the most beautiful apartment in Töölö on the sixth floor and I had a view overlooking the Temppeliaukio church. The sunsets were so incredible.
This fall I made the biggest change in my life when I moved to another country by myself. I started studying here in Stockholm instead, the same subject, though. The thing is that I have dreamed about moving abroad ever since I was a little girl. I have always wanted to experience new things, learn and grow. That’s why I see travel as a way to learn so much both about oneself but also about the world surrounding one. I couldn’t be happier about my decision to move. This is my home.
Even though it has already been a couple of months since I moved, I haven’t had the time to get the apartment as ready as I would like it to be. For instance, I am still missing a sofa (I ordered one in September and I am still waiting). Slowly but steady everything is falling to its’ places.
